Abstract Hastelloy C-276 is a nickel-based alloy with high strength and corrosion resistance at cryogenic to temperatures. The issue of shallow penetration by Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding was addressed in the current investigation applying A-TIG variable oxide flux. In investigation, constant conditions were used perform TIG using SiO 2 , TiO 50% mixture + weld bead width depth profile measured, mechanical metallurgical properties metal investigated. flux attained highest D/W ratio during when compared other fluxes used. improved 118% 263%, respectively, comparison conventional welding. Additionally, welded sample had an ultimate tensile 738.295 MPa percentage elongation 52.75%.
